Cara has been a middle school math teacher and a science teacher, both here in California and in Texas. She completed a B.S. in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin as well as a mathematics teaching credential. As the Cal Teach mathematics placement coordinator, Cara worked with local schools, teachers, and Cal Teach math interns to ensure that all had a successful internship experience. Cara also taught the Cal Teach 1 math seminar that accompanies the first Cal Teach internship from fall 2007 through winter 2009.
