Summer 2009 Internships

Cal Teach will be offering paid internships in summer 2010 and 2011 for first and second year students majoring in math, science, engineering,or ENVS with sufficient coursework in science or math. Both UCSC and community college students are eligible.

  • Get real experience with local K-12 educational summer programs such as the Summer Math Academy, COSMOS, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
  • Find out if teaching math or science is a career potential for you.
  • Participate in teaching professional development via workshops and weekly seminars.
  • Collaborate with other undergraduates who share the same interests.
  • Receive $450 weekly for the 6-week program.*


*Some transportation and housing stipends are available.
